I did not find it necessary to host the SWF on S3 for it to work.
Thanks,
AlexAlexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06414347655170534772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5611656633903981530.post-66940724211413089702009-07-30T14:55:25.617-07:002009-07-30T14:55:25.617-07:00@Hugo, @Grande:

I haven't used it, but what I could gather from reading the docs was that you compile your flash swf with a special .as file; I didn't really have any desire to start compiling and distributing a custom SWFUpload binary so I didn't get very far.

There's also an extension for the Watir browser testing gem called FlashWatir, but when I checked it out last it only worked on Windows, because it uses the ruby stdlib Win32 API.pete higginshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06164347683461976036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5611656633903981530.post-91805022609834888082009-07-30T06:42:12.042-07:002009-07-30T06:42:12.042-07:00Thanks for the post, it was a good read. I was thinking too how I could use cucumber to test features that use swfupload, but I could not figure out a way too.

Please, let me know if you have any new idea about that.Hugo Baraúnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04097851911509006059noreply@blogger.com
